Jay Chou Arrives in Singapore Ahead of Concert, Receives Tennis Challenge from Singapore Sports Hub
Taiwanese singer Jay Chou has landed in Singapore ahead of his highly anticipated concerts at the National Stadium from October 11 to 13. In the lead-up to his arrival, Chou, a tennis enthusiast, challenged his fans to show him their most "weird and rare" tennis rackets, with free concert tickets offered as prizes.
The contest has concluded, with five winners selected—one of whom is from Singapore.
On October 9, the official Instagram account of Singapore Sports Hub joined the fun by commenting on Chou's post, issuing him a tennis challenge. They proposed a friendly match, with the prize being an invitation for Chou to attend the upcoming Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) 250 tournament in 2025 at the new Kallang Tennis Hub as a "VVVVVIP" if he wins. However, they left the outcome of a possible loss a mystery.

Jay Chou's concert in Singapore comes almost two years after his last performance in the country. Interestingly, his shows will coincide with Hong Kong star Andy Lau's concert, which kicks off at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on October 10.
